Digital Account Director - Client Services

The Account Lead is a critical member of the Client Services team. They are adept communicators and relationship builders who can have challenging conversations with both client and internal teams, yet inspire them to continually deliver exceptional work to achieve client goals. Those successful in this role are both proactive problem solvers with a positive attitude, and able to observe/listen/take feedback from both internal and client teams to better themselves, while leading by example to manage large, assigned client portfolios. Being adaptive and willing to step in to help any team member is imperative, but so is the ability to help manage internal teams to deliver an exceptional client experience with JUICE.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead Client Services team and manage client projects with minimal oversight
  • Understand the client’s business and industry by researching and asking questions, and continuously strive for the best solutions to help achieve client goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments (Creative, Paid Media, and UX/Development) to execute client deliverables.
    • Help the teams problem-solve solutions for clients and drive client results within internal departments.
    • Keep the teams running smoothly and efficiently
    • Deliver an exceptional Client experience
  • Comfortable having difficult conversations, both internally and with clients, as the first line of escalation from clients
  • Manage client expectations externally and internally by project managing all deliverables
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with client services team & select clients.
  • Identify growth opportunities that are innovative, smart, strategic, and will achieve client goals. Help the client understand what they need beyond what they ask
  • Oversee & Manage junior team members
    • Conduct periodic evaluations of team performance, including key milestones & timetables for junior team growth & ongoing development
  • Assist and participate in the new business pitch process, helping advise on proposals and attending new business pitches as needed
  • Work with the sales team to provide insights and innovative strategies that help close.


What you’d need to succeed:

  • 5-8 years of digital agency/client services/startup marketing experience
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Paid Media experience (client services, media buying, ad ops)
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, and LinkedIn
  • Strong negotiation and selling skills, with the ability to manage a multi-client PNL
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams on successful projects and campaigns
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt in the face of ever-changing projects
  • Thorough understanding of marketing concepts including branding, advertising, strategy creation, content development, and design
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and collaborative
  • Must be able to multi-task and effectively manage the timely delivery of work against short deadlines
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Great cross-team communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively to business, creative and technical people


Preferred Skills:

  • Paid media/advertising experience (FB/IG/Google/TikTok/Twitter/Snapchat/Pinterest, etc.)
  • Strong desire to deliver the best results possible for clients
  • Proactive problem solver
  • UX/UI and eCommerce experience
