Director of Client Growth

Job Overview:

The Director of Client Growth will lead, mentor, and manage a team of strategists working directly with clients to plan and execute marketing campaigns. The Director of Client Growth is responsible for ensuring excellence across all client services functions. This leadership position requires strong managerial, leadership, and mentoring skills, along with experience managing multiple client accounts, budgets, projects, and timelines.

You need to be organized, passionate, and goal-oriented. This position will report to the executive team and work closely with sales, finance, and project management.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all client servicing and manage the client services team.
  • High-level management of client/JUICE relationship to ensure that strategic expectations and client deliverables meet or surpass client expectations.
  • Address and resolve client issues proactively, professionally, and effectively.
  • Know when to manage problems independently and escalate situations when necessary.
  • Plan resource utilization to support client staffing, project management, and the hiring schedule.
  • Effectively communicate with clients and team members at all levels.
  • Work closely with the executive team to facilitate improved forecasting and reporting.
  • Set, track, and manage staff priorities, workload balancing/utilization, employee recognition, and routine staff professional development to keep turnover at a minimum and staff morale high.
  • Share insights and expertise for various types of digital marketing strategies for clients spanning industries, company sizes, and locales.
  • Act as a mentor and guide to a team of strategists and media buyers.

What you’d need to succeed:

  • 5+ years of management or supervisory experience.
  • 5+ years of marketing/growth experience in B2C/B2SMB.
  • Track record of proactive leadership.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally with other teams.
  • Experience managing multiple accounts or a very large agency account, end-to-end, to tight deadlines, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated mentoring skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of the digital advertising space.
  • Experience building and executing on full-funnel marketing campaigns
  • Strong knowledge and direct hands-on experience with paid social, paid search, Google Analytics, and ESP's (Mailchimp/Klaviyo/etc.)
  • A passion for growing businesses.
